FAN+ Australia marketplace to partner with Australian Sports Foundation
Supporter marketplace FAN+ Australia has announced a joint agreement with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), which will see a percentage of each sporting experience sold on the FAN+ platform donated to the foundation.
Announcing the partnership, Fan+ founder and Chief Executive Rod Harys advised “one of our key objectives when starting Fan+ was to ensure that we gave back to the community.
“For Fan+, the Australian Sports Foundation is the perfect fit and we are honoured to be working with the Foundation.”
Whenever a Fan+ experience is purchased, 70% of the fee goes back to the athlete.
The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) provides important revenue streams for sport organisations from grassroots, juniors and district through to elite sports, so the fit for us is perfect, with one of its key projects being to raise funds for athletes who are training and participating to achieve state or national level representation.
Athletes offering experiences include Matt Levy, Australian Paralympic swimmer and Australian kayaker, Jo Bridgen Jones.
Talking about the partnership, Ryan Holloway, ASF National Partnership Director, said he was looking forward to working with FAN+.
Holloway added “when you look at the FAN+ platform and see how many amazing athlete experiences on it, it also tells another story.
“Each of these athletes and legends on Fan+ were once juniors and someone committed to their putting them on a pathway to becoming an elite athlete.
“Hopefully we will be able to further the careers of other aspiring athletes with the support FAN+ as they head out on their journey.”
FAN+ is a centralised marketplace that connects fans with their favourite celebrity’s, television personalities, sports stars and sports club.
