Event Hub to provide the software platform for Perth Arena’s premium facilities and clients
Event Hub has announced that it has been appointed by Perth Arena to provide the software platform for the management of the arena’s premium facilities and clients.
At the same time Event Hub announced a three year extension of its agreement with Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena.
The new appointment and major client extension continues the trend towards venues and their premium clients utilising Event Hub to revolutionise the way they manage their facilities and services by integration and consolidating them into one platform.
Commenting on the appointment to the Perth Arena, Event Hub Managing Director and Chief Executive Rob McQuade stated “we are delighted to have Perth Arena join our growing list of venue clients, it is a state of the art facility and hosts a busy event schedule across sport, music and entertainment.
“Understanding the dynamics of the industry as we do, we will work closely with the Perth Arena management to meet the needs of the venue and their clients for both event and non-event activities and look forward to delivering the same benefits in terms of increased utilisation, higher spends per head and greater cost efficiency that our other venue clients are experiencing.”
Perth Arena General Manager Michael Scott commented “following an internal systems review at Perth Arena in 2015, we looked at the range of products available in the marketplace to help us manage our premium assets and services.
“Following our review, and on hearing endorsement from other venues already using the system, we selected Event Hub for its superior functionality, integration capability, and consolidation of services as well as enhanced user interface for both our venue management and our clients.
“To have all of our assets and services managed in one central portal is a huge benefit for us and will transform the premium offering to our clients (and) the fact that Event Hub has its development team based here in Australia and provided us with 24/7 system support also helped us make a decision to partner with them.
“My team and I are really looking forward to working with Event Hub and enjoying the benefits the system can provide Perth Arena and our clients.”
Commenting on its extension for a further three years of its contract with Qudos Bank Arena (formerly Allphones Arena) one of the company’s first clients, Qudos Bank Arena General Manager Steve Hevern stated “we have partnered with Event Hub since 2013 and have experienced first-hand the transformational difference this innovative platform has made in managing our premium facilities and services.
“Having just extended our agreement for a further three years we look forward to continuing to enjoy the efficiencies, increased utilisation and level of customer service that has been provided to date – as well as capitalising on the expanded capabilities across CRM, point of sale, parking and merchandise that the system has to offer.”
