Elite Athletes Begin Altitude Training at Falls Creek

International athletes participating in this week's innovative National Altitude Training Centre at Falls Creek have begun their training regime at the mile-high, athlete-friendly resort.

Elite American runner Bobby Curtis and Guenther Weidlinger (the fastest Austrian middle distance runner) are among the first elite runners from the northern hemisphere to take advantage of our ground-breaking facility.

Curtis is just one of a number of athletes managed by high profile coach Nic Bideau who has teamed up with the legendary Steve Moneghetti, to combine their respective skills into establishing (and promoting) the National Altitude Training Centre (NATC) at Falls Creek.

The aim of the NATC is to enables athletes to have access to the people, facilities and knowledge that will maximise the benefits of training at altitude.

Head Coach Nic Bideau has structured the core training programs that have seen many of his athletes scale the heights of international competition.

Bideau's programs have been honed over years to produce the very best from his disciples, and now form the basis of the NATC approach to sport.
