Dreamworld announces winter events highlights

Dreamworld has unveiled its winter 2024 program with the entire park to be transformed, both day and night, during the upcoming school holidays.

The seasonal celebration will see the return of the popular Winterfest and the debut of the new Dreamworld After Dark: Snowy Nights, promising an enchanting experiences for all ages.

An all-new event, Dreamworld After Dark: Snowy Nights is offering guests the chance to experience the park under the stars on the evenings of Saturday 29th June and Saturday 6th July.

With the park open from 5:30pm to 9pm, guests will be able to enjoy their favourite rides and attractions while also being able to experience ice skating, tobogganing and European foods.

The entire park, with the exception of Tiger Island and Native Wildlife, will be available for exploration, creating an enchanting evening atmosphere that is not to be missed.

Exclusive VIP packages for Snowy Nights will offer guests early access to the full-size ice rink from 5pm to 6pm, a welcome drink, a snowy gift, and a food and beverage voucher. Individual ice-skating sessions and Ride Express will also be available for purchase.

Looking forward to the events, Michelle Erasmus, General Manager for Park Operations at Dreamworld and SkyPoint, advised “we’re excited to welcome guests to experience the magic of Dreamworld after dark, with all the thrills and excitement they love, plus a few special winter touches. It’s an exciting way for us to extend our winter offering this year and create a one-stop winter destination for locals and visitors.”

For day-time guests, Winterfest is back from 29th June to 14th July with this year’s event including ice skating on a full-sized indoor skate rink, tobogganing on a real ice slide, navigating an indoor ice maze and European-inspired F&B offerings.

Winterfest is free with any Dreamworld entry ticket or annual pass. Dreamworld Local Annual Passholders receive a complimentary ice-skating session, while non-passholders can enjoy the ice rink for just $15.
