AALARA 2024 Conference to chart future for the attractions industry

Returning to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, the 2024 Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA) Conference and Trade Show is to address key issues for the industry through a series of industry panels that being together industry leaders.

Being held on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd May, the Conference will consist of a series of panels on topics including shaping a sustainable business, risk management, accessible attractions, insurance and the diverse world of Australian amusements and attractions.

In addition to welcoming presentations, it will also feature an address from Wuthichai Luangamornlert, Chair of the International Association for Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and Managing Director of Siam Park Bangkok Co. Ltd.

Either side of the conference Monday 20th May will feature regulators and engineers meetings and a coming together of the AALARA inflatables subcommittee while Thursday 23rd May offers site tours to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, WhiteWater World and Warner Bros. Movie World.

Social events include at Welcome Networking Function at Ripley's Believe It Or Not!, a mid conference function at TopGolf Gold Coast and the AALARA Gala Dinner.
