Tony de Leede ready to launch fifth YogaBar studio

Veteran fitness industry entrepreneur Tony De Leede will next week be opening the fifth of his YogaBar studios in the Sydney CBD.

Launched last year, the YogaBar concept offers a combined Yoga, Barre, Pilates and Reformer studio combined with a wholefood café serving smoothies, bowls, pots, salads and raw desserts, and an active wear retail space.

The new studio, sited in Sydney’s Liverpool Street, joins other facilities at Bondi Beach, Five Dock, Park Street and Westfield Sydney.

Each studio offers a range of classes, from the brand’s signature yoga sculpting class; YogaBar Define, to Hot Flow Yoga, Hot Pilates, Pilates Reformer, Aerial Yoga, Barre Attack and a hip-hop yoga class - YogaBar Beats.

De Leede, who brought Fitness First to Australia and later founded the Fit n Fast chain, has also developed the Gwinganna and Komune Bali wellness retreats, travels the world, between his fitness hubs in Sydney, the Gold Coast hinterland, Bali and the US analysing trends and creating the future.

DeLeede explained “YogaBar brings a fresh perspective to the ancient tradition of yoga and gives an alternative to the many CBD gyms.”
