New Fit n Fast club marks the beginning of next generation of virtual fitness

Fit n Fast’s newly opened gym in the Sydney suburb of Wetherill Park is offering members a range of functional fitness opportunities, enhanced wellness and yoga facilities and a new generation of virtual fitness technology.

Representing the first Fit n Fast opening in two years, the new club represents a rethinking of Fit n Fast’s fitness in line with changing fitness industry trends.

While still based on the concept of 30 minute-long ‘quickie’ workouts for members, Fit n Fast founder Tony de Leede has added enhanced functional training zones within the new club and adaptable spaces for yoga.

With two adaptable studio rooms, the 1,000 metre² club offers what de Leede refers to as a “yin and a yang”, with the yang being cardio space within the club and the yin being more orientated towards spiritual wellbeing.

The club’s yoga rooms can be used for a variety of yoga types, including hot yoga, with complementary low lighting and enhanced by the infusion of appropriate smells, introduced into the room at the start of each class.

Perhaps the most significant development at the club is what de Leede refers to as a “new generation in virtual fitness”, with two virtual fitness rooms fitted with giant 2.5 x 3 metre video screens.

Unimpressed by currently available virtual fitness products, de Leede also plans to introduce a new brand of virtual fitness content, designed for giant screen displays and contemporary fitness demands.

Having founded Cardio Theatre in the 1990s, de Leede is widely acknowledged as an innovator in fusing fitness with entertainment technology and sees this new brand expanding across the fitness club sector and as an in-home product.

In line with its new approach to fitness, the Fit n Fast website has recently been relaunched.

Fit n Fast Wetherill Park is located in the Stockland Shopping Centre.
