David Morgan elected to Fitness Australia's Board of Directors

Leading industry professionals David Allan, David Morgan and Greg Oliver, have been elected to Fitness Australia's Board of Directors with Oliver and Allan being reelected to their positions.

In a statement following their election this week, Fitness Australia wrote "all three candidates have made a commitment to represent and serve the fitness industry, to act in the best interests of the fitness industry and to use their expertise, skills and experience to lead and support Fitness Australia as it strives towards achievement of its strategic goals."

Fitness Australia Chief Executive Lauretta Stace added "it is an honour and a privilege to have Greg Oliver and David Allan re-join the Board for a further two year term.

"We are also thrilled to welcome David Morgan to the Board. The calibre of these three industry leaders is exceptional and they will provide a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Association. The quality of the nine candidates for election this year was outstanding and we sincerely thank them for their support of and interest in Fitness Australia."

David Allan is a consultant to Genesis Fitness Clubs.

David Morgan is the General Manager of Runaway Bay Sports and Leadership Excellence Centre.

Greg Oliver is the Chief Executive of Goodlife Health Clubs.

The elected directors will take office for a two year term at the Fitness Australia Annual General Meeting, to be held in Adelaide, on Friday 19th October 2012.
