Corowa Aquatic Centre announces successful 2023/24 financial year

The Corowa Aquatic Centre, located in Corowa - the largest town in the Federation Council located on the banks of the Murray River - has announced a successful 2023-2024 financial year, with impressive key performance indicators to show for it!

Federation Council General Manager, Adrian Butler said key performance indicators show significant growth in admissions, active members, and learn-to-swim enrolments in 2023-2024.

Butler noted "we've also seen an increase in sales and website page views which highlights how valued this amazing Aquatic Centre is by our community and visitors.

"With 34,092 admissions, 137 active members, and 271 students enrolled in our Learn to swim program, we continue to offer a suite of experiences for our community. Our sales have increased to $242,172 (inc GST). We're also proud to say that we've had no interruptions in service provision due to COVID or flooding this year, marking a significant milestone for us since first opening the doors in 2021."

Butler said the busiest days at the Centre are Tuesday, Thursday and Wednesday with peak times from 9am –10am, 4pm –5pm and 3pm –4pm.

"On top of that, our marketing efforts continue to grow with website page views reaching 75,184 and a monthly newsletter attracting 668 subscribers," he said.

"Our Facebook page now boasts an impressive following of over 1.7K followers with a total reach of 54.1K and our Instagram page is also steadily growing. We couldn't have achieved all this without the support of our loyal customers and dedicated staff - here's to another fantastic year ahead at the Corowa Aquatic Centre!"

The Corowa Aquatic Centre was opened to the public on 26th April 2021 and has now been operational for over three years.
