Clublinks appointed Deakin University sport and recreation management partner

Deakin University has engaged Clublinks Management Pty Ltd as the new manager of its sport and fitness facilities.

The new partnership, which will commence in January 2018, will see Clublinks manage and market the facilities which comprises health clubs and sports stadiums at campuses in Melbourne and Waurn Ponds (Geelong), Deakin’s industry leading Elite Sporting Precinct, and a brand new online based health and fitness program.

Clublinks' Chief Executive Anthony Lawrence is delighted to have been awarded the contract and continue the company’s expansion into the fitness, recreation and sport facility market, stating “our team is thrilled to have been successful in a very competitive tender to manage Deakin University’s sport and fitness facilities.

Deakin University joins Clublinks’ growing list of sport and leisure partners, including Bingara Gorge in NSW, Centennial Parklands Sports Centre and Moore Park Golf in Sydney, the Diamond Valley Sports & Fitness Centre in Victoria and Wembley Golf Complex in Perth.

Clublinks has over 15 years of experience in managing and consulting to some of Australia’s finest masterplanned golfing developments, public and private golfing facilities, residential estates and leisure centres.

Located at the national headquarters for the PGA of Australia at Sandhurst Club in Melbourne, Clublinks delivers facility and community management services to a number of clients and has experience managing all business aspects, including day to day operations, hospitality, telecommunications, security, human resources, finance, IT, marketing and sales.
