Club Pilates sets a goal of 100 studios across Australia and New Zealand

With more than 1000 studios globally, Club Pilates has set a goal of 100 studios across Australia and New Zealand.

Founded in San Diego in 2007, and delivering Pilates to hundreds of thousands of people, Club Pilates has already attracted key locations around Australia and signed the Master Franchise Agreement for a minimum of 50 studios.

Ten of the first 54 tier-one territories have already been sold, and studios are open in every state except Victoria. Now with proof of concept across the country and over 100 enquiries a month, Club Pilates is expecting Australian investors and owner operators to “fall in love with the business as much as the USA has.”

Brendan James Club Pilates Master Franchisor and Chief Executive notes “we are leaving no stone unturned as we believe every Australian can benefit from Club Pilates to allow them to ‘Do Life’. However, we have particularly seen huge success in regional areas such as Noosa, suburban towns such as Inaloo in WA and major metro locations such as Mosman in NSW.

Following recent successes, Club Pilates have seen studios growing at a rate of 26% quarter on quarter and new studios reaching soft launch targets of over 200 members with six weeks remaining before the grand opening. New studios are on target to hit the industry stretch goal of 300 members for their grand opening. The Club Pilates studio in Noosa has experienced exponential success, reaching 113% increase in revenue over a four month period in 2022 from May to September.

James added "as a long-time believer in the benefits of Pilates, I wanted to partner with the best organisation in the world for the Australian Market. From the brand strength to the people, to the operational processes and platforms used across over 800 locations globally, Club Pilates is not only the strongest pilates brand in the world but the easiest for franchise partners to achieve success from the get-go.”

Club Pilates serves over eight million workouts each year to dedicated members. and sets itself apart with a modernised group practice with expanded state-of-the-art equipment, offering high-quality, life-changing training at a surprisingly affordable price.

Club Pilates is designed with the vision of making Pilates more accessible, approachable and welcoming to everyone. Club Pilates studios offer eight class formats and four levels and the brand offers extensive training certification for its instructors. Its 500-hour training program includes instruction on Pilates, barre, Triggerpoint, and TRX Suspension Trainers.
