World's largest Pilates brand launches first Australian studios
Club Pilates has today announced the launch of its first three Australian studios with the world’s largest Pilates facilities brand now operational at three locations in Queensland - at Sippy Downs, Brisbane Metro North and a first franchised location in Noosa.
Aiming to deliver a premium studio experience, with world-class equipment and the highest qualified instructors in the country, the launch follows the February signing of Club Pilates’ Australian Master Franchise Agreement.
With almost 700 locations open across the globe, Australia becomes the 11th country where Club Pilates is operational.
Brendan James, Chief Executive of PilateX Pty Ltd, the Master Franchise Partner for Club Pilates in Australia, explained “we are honoured to be part of a global brand that has the heritage to provide franchisees with such an established executive model. It’s a world-class franchise offer in terms of education, marketing, sales capability, and operational excellence”.
Part of parent company Xponential Fitness, the group has begun identifying key premium locations for Club Pilates studios and is currently dealing with several interested strategic parties looking for both single and multi-unit development areas.
Founded in 2007, Club Pilates is the largest Pilates brand by number of studios, designed with the vision of making Pilates more accessible, approachable and welcoming to everyone.
Founded in 2017 by Anthony Geisler, Xponential Fitness has built a diversified platform of boutique fitness brands including Pilates, indoor cycling, barre, stretch, rowing, dance, running and yoga. Currently, Xponential Fitness’s portfolio of brands includes Club Pilates; CycleBar; StretchLab, a concept offering one-on-one assisted stretching services and group stretch services; Row House, a high-energy, low-impact indoor rowing workout; AKT, a dance-based cardio workout combining toning, interval and circuit training developed by Celebrity Trainer Anna Kaiser; YogaSix, a modern boutique yoga brand; Pure Barre, a total body workout that uses the ballet barre to perform small isometric movements; STRIDE, a treadmill-based cardio and strength training concept; and most recently Rumble, a boxing-inspired full-body workout that delivers 45-minute, 10-round, full-body strength and conditioning workouts crafted around specially designed water-filled, teardrop-style boxing bags.
