Cabonne Regional Council offers free weekend pool access to children and youth
As it continues to experience extreme weather conditions, Cabonne Regional Council in the Central West region of NSW, is offering free weekend entry to its seven pools for children aged 18 years and under.
Having experienced searing temperatures, no rain, bushfires and crippling drought, the Council is hoping to help the community kick off the new year on a brighter note.
Mindful of the important role its pools play for the community, the Council will be providing free entry to children 18-years or younger to Molong, Canowindra, Cudal, Cumnock, Eugowra, Manildra and Yeoval pools on weekends during the school holidays in January and the first weekend of February.
Cabonne Council Mayor Kevin Beatty said the move is a “drought relief measure” for local youth and children.
