Bluey’s World attraction now open in Brisbane
Bluey’s World - one of the largest and most ambitious immersive events to be staged in Australia - has made its highly-anticipated debut in Brisbane.
Opened on the evening of Tuesday 12th November, the ultimate celebration of Australia’s most beloved blue heeler family.
The opening celebrations, held at the purpose-built Northshore Pavilion in Hamilton, drew fans, families and famous faces, eager to immerse themselves in the new immersive For Real Life experience.
The talented team from Ludo Studio, along with Melanie Zanetti (voice of Chilli) and David McCormack (voice of Bandit), joined the festivities.
Zanetti explained “it’s such a special moment to see Bluey’s World come to life right here in my hometown where Bluey was created.
"This show has such a big heart, and it’s incredible to see families stepping into Bluey’s universe and experiencing that same magic up close. I’m incredibly proud to be part of something that brings so much joy to people of all ages.”
Set over 4,000 square metres, Bluey’s World presents a blend of interactive play, life-size sets and a rich soundscape inspired by the loved ABC series.
Taking visitors on a journey through a meticulously recreated world of Bluey, traversing from the iconic living room to the shaded Poinciana tree in the backyard, the immersive adventure extends beyond mere observation, inviting guests to engage with the Heeler family’s household.
Sam Moor, Producer for Bluey’s World creator Ludo Studio, noted “the team behind Bluey spent hours and hours meticulously designing and drawing the backgrounds and neighbourhoods for the TV show that the whole world has come to love.
“So, we’re thrilled to now be able to give fans the opportunity to literally step into the world the team created - for real life. It’s really special and exciting for everyone.”
Bluey’s World is produced by BBC Studios and HVK World and supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland, and Brisbane City Council via the Brisbane Economic Development Agency.
The latest Bluey Minisodes will come to ABC iview on Sunday 8th December.
