BFT placed fourth on AFR's Fast Global List
Fitness franchise BFT has been placed fourth on the Australian Financial Review’s Fast Global for 2023.
Announced on Tuesday, the AFR Fast Global list celebrates Australian companies that are delivering commercial growth in international markets.
Calculated on growth in revenue generated overseas over the past three years, the Fast Global lists companies who serve as inspiration to Australian businesses looking to test their products and services internationally.
Welcoming the acknowledgment, BFT APAC Chief Executive, Dave Aitchison stated “we are extremely humbled to be listed fourth on the AFR Fast Global list, which is a testament to our franchise network’s dedication, our team’s hard work, and the quality product we deliver to our growing member base.
"This recognition reinforces our position as an industry leader in the health and fitness industry and our rapidly expanding international presence.
“(And) our global footprint continues to grow, having just sold our first three territories into Hong Kong.
“The last 12 months has seen our global revenue evolve from predominately franchise sales, to the recurring revenue of successful studio openings with very strong member numbers.
“Additionally launching of our own equipment and education arms, along with our heart rate technology has seen a significant uplift to not only our product and services but also our commercial growth.
“Off the back of some significant partnerships with international brands like HYROX and PUMA, we are excited to see further growth into new markets, and an ever evolving and innovating offering for our franchisees and membership base.”
Other leisure businesses recognised on the list include attractions management software platform Roller, which was listed 15th and UNIFIED Music Group, ranked in 45th place.
Welcoming its placement, Roller Chief Executive and founder, Luke Finn commented "this recognition reinforces our position as a leading force in the leisure and attractions industry, and we are proud of our achievements in expanding our international presence.”
