Body Fit Training hosts 5th Annual Conference and awards BFT franchisees

Body Fit Training (BFT), Australia’s fastest-growing fitness franchise, recently hosted their two-day annual conference on 23rd March on the Gold Coast which also included an awards ceremony, recognising and celebrating the achievements of BFT franchisees in various categories.

Themed the ‘Power of Different’, over 300 franchisees and suppliers from around the world reunited to celebrate and reflect on a significant year and share plans for further stepping up their operations in 2023 and beyond. Hapana and Ezypay were the naming partners of the weekend.

The conference offered valuable insights and thought starters to all participants through keynote speaker Phill Nosworthy, an expert on leadership and achieving high performance. His talk left attendees feeling motivated and inspired to strive for even greater success in the future.

Cameron Falloon, founder and Director of BFT enthused “we were excited to bring our global network of franchisees together for our 5th Annual Conference. This event was an opportunity for us to celebrate our achievements, connect and collaborate with our franchisees, and encourage one another to achieve even more in the future.

“We chose the theme ‘Power of Different’ as it resonates with our brand and community of franchisees, as well as being the driving force behind our success to date. BFT is all about marking our differences, embracing diversity and recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to fitness. By championing individuality and innovation, we’ve created a global community of like-minded franchisees who share our passion for health and fitness.”

The conference included early morning group workouts for all delegates and breakout sessions, which allowed franchisees to choose their own adventure specific to what they need help with or want to upskill.

Attendees also had the chance to participate in interactive sessions and engage with BFT’s leadership team, including Falloon, during a year-in-review session where the team discussed the strategy for the brand moving forward.

The awards ceremony was the highlight of the conference, recognising and celebrating the achievements of BFT franchisees in various categories, including Franchisee of the year, Best First Year Franchise, Trainer of the Year, Brand Ambassador of the Year and Most Engaged Community of the Year.

Falloon added “we are proud of the hard work and dedication of our franchisees, who have helped make BFT the success it is today. The awards ceremony was our way of recognising their contributions and celebrating their achievements.”

The key winners were:

  • Franchise of the Year: BFT Fairfield for the 4th consecutive year, who house over 480 members.

  • Best First Year Franchise: BFT Caroline Springs who hold the highest presale number record with 410 members on opening.

  • Most Engaged Communtiy: BFT Cranbourne

  • Coach of the Year: Jacob Carroll

  • Brand Ambassador: Dave Smart

The involvement of fitness club software solution Hapana and billing specialists Ezypay in the conference saw the BFT partners play a large role in interactions, sponsoring networking brunches, holding talks, as well as creating time during the conference to catch up with owners and operators of BFT franchises.

Welcoming the involvement, Hapana founder and Chief Executive, Jarron Aizen stated "when the opportunity came up for Hapana and Ezypay to sponsor the BFT Global Conference
this year, we knew it was the perfect way to celebrate this ongoing relationship between the three brands.

“With big plans of expansions for all of us over the next 12 months, the conference was the perfect way to kickstart the year.”
