Belgravia Leisure marks 10 years of facility management in Queensland

Belgravia Leisure recently marked 10 years of facility management in the Sunshine State.

Commencing operations at the Valley Pool in Brisbane on 1st July 2004 the company has had tremendous growth over this time and currently operates 18 aquatic and leisure facilities across south east Queensland for five local councils and one state school.

Belgravia Leisure has established strong partnerships with the Moreton Bay, Gold Coast City, Somerset, Redlands and Toowoomba Regional Councils to deliver fantastic recreational and social objectives to these communities.  In addition Belgravia Leisure provides learn-to-swim and squad classes to school members and local residents at the Kedron State Primary School on Brisbane’s Northside.

As well as catering for over 5,000 children in its learn-to-swim programs and 3,500 fitness club members across its managed gyms and fitness facilities, Belgravia Leisure employs over 1,000 local staff throughout these centres and has provided notebale employment opportunities through training and self-development programs.

Belgravia Leisure also employs over 20 squad coaches including several full time Silver level accredited head coaches to oversee the development of our future generation of national swimmers.

Belgravia Leisure has worked closely with key industry bodies in Queensland such as the Royal Life Saving Society, Austswim, the Aquatic Leisure Facilities Association and Swimming Australia to ensure best practice procedures are the backbone of the Queensland arm of Belgravia Leisure.
