Belgravia Group investment transforms Newcastle’s The Parc

Newcastle’s The Parc celebrates its official opening event on 7th December 2024 following a $2.2 million transformation which sees the venue now offering an enhanced experience across its three core facilities: Genesis Health + Fitness; Ninja Parc; and Sports Parc.

Belgravia Group's investment in The Parc has transformed the Newcastle venue into a vibrant hub for fitness, fun, and community connection with each offering including features that cater to a wide range of fitness and recreational interests.

This transformation is part of Belgravia Group’s commitment to creating dynamic spaces that inspire movement, well-being, and adventure for people of all ages.

This reinvention of The Parc aligns with Newcastle’s growing demand for inclusive and innovative spaces that bring families and communities together.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore each space and enjoy new experiences at the opening ceremony on 7th December 2024 which will feature a special address by John Pirlo, Managing Director and Newcastle local, whose passion and commitment have driven The Parc’s mission to foster a thriving active culture.

The expanded Ninja Parc offers a reimagined obstacle course, plus the introduction of ‘The Playground’ for children aged under eight, designed to nurture movement and play. Safe, soft, and fun, this area promises excitement for the youngest adventurers.

For those looking to scale new heights, Climb Parc now boasts a High Ropes course and over 19 climbing walls suitable for all ages and abilities. Thrill-seekers can soar on the SkyCoaster, gliding above the Ninja Parc below on an exhilarating zip line ride, perfect for adventurous spirits.

For a dose of nostalgia, Ninja Parc’ade offers a dedicated retro arcade space where family fun is taken to a whole new level. Whether it’s a casual play pass, a memorable birthday party, or an action-packed school holiday activity, The Parc has something for everyone.

Sports Parc now introduces pickleball, a fresh and fun way to stay active each season. A new basketball court, featuring top-of-the-line Sport 67 flooring, offers an ideal surface for safe and high-performance gameplay.

Genesis Health + Fitness has also received an upgrade, complete with new squat racks, a functional training area, and modern weights and equipment to support members in achieving their fitness goals.

The Parc’s newly finished indoor running track is here to elevate your training experience, no matter the season. Designed for year-round use, this state-of-the-art track provides an ideal setting for runners of all levels, whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just getting started on your fitness journey. Rain or shine, you can stay consistent with your workouts, enjoy a smooth and supportive surface, and feel inspired to push your limits.

The Parc, in partnership with Belgravia Group, has been reimagined as a vibrant community hub designed to engage people of all ages. Formerly known as The Parc at Howzat, the newly revitalized venue now offers a dynamic blend of activity, recreation, entertainment, and social connection.

Santa is attending the opening ceremony from 11am to 2pm for a special Santa photo session and with every Santa photo, guests will receive a free Ninja Parc Class Pass, valued at $20.

Everyone is invited to the opening and to be inspired by The Parc’s vibrant new offerings.
