Genesis Health + Fitness Berwick achieves 15-year milestone with almost two million gym visits

Genesis Health + Fitness Berwick is this month marking a significant milestone – 15 years in operation servicing over 2,000 members every year.

Opened by Melissa Fraser (pictured below) in 2009, Genesis Health + Fitness Berwick has grown to be a cornerstone of health and wellbeing in the community.

As part of the celebration, a small group of dedicated local gym members will be rewarded for their long-term commitment to the gym with a free one year membership as a ‘thank you’ for 15 years of continued membership.

“I love that my business becomes a second home for people, assisting our customers to achieve their health goals," shared Fraser, whose history with Genesis stems even further than 15 years, having worked her way up from a receptionist role at a local club in her early 20s.

Fraser added "I'm proud that we are involved in changing people's lives for the better. Whether it is aiming for greater fitness, better health, improving strength, balance and your mental health, we have been able to cater our services to many different member goals over the years.”

Over 15 years Genesis Health + Fitness Berwick has:

• Provided for 1,938,016 gym visits

• Created 212 jobs for locals

• Delivered 25,740 fitness classes
