Be part of the World's Largest Swimming Lesson

Aquatic facilities around the world still have the chance to participate in this year's World's Largest Swimming Lesson (WLSL) event.

The event, to be held on Tuesday 14th June 2011 is backed by the World Waterparks Association, represents, according to a WWA spokesperson "a phenomenal media opportunity to build awareness about swimming lessons and water safety in your community.

"Not only does it reach key customers like mums and young kids, it gives the media something to focus on in a positive way.

To be part of the event, facilities need only:

• Register online and submit your release form
• Download the event materials from the website
• Host a 45 minute WLSL lesson at your facility on Tuesday 14th June
• Use a certified swimming instructor to teach the lesson to a least 25 participants
• Submit your log sheets and two witness statements.

Organisers of the the WLSL have plenty of tools available to make local programs a huge success.
