Australian Swim Schools Association and International Swim Schools Association formalise partnership
The Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA) and the International Swim Schools Association (ISSA) have formalised their partnership in what is referred to as “a major step in advancing aquatic education and water safety across Australia and worldwide.”
Together, both organisations are focused on enhancing the quality and accessibility of learn-to-swim programs to reduce drowning.
The partnership will see ASSA member automatically gain membership to ISSA, accessing its resources, international networking opportunities, global benchmarking and the ISSA Swim School Accreditation Program.
ASSA went on to note “ASSA has been a supporter of ISSA since its inception and formalising this partnership increases both association's impact in the learn-to-swim space.”
Former ASSA General Manager Emily McNeill is now Global Partnership Executive for the International Swim School Association (ISSA).
