BlueFit opens new Sydney swim school
Facility manager BlueFit has announced the opening of its latest purpose built swim school in the Sydney suburb of Prospect.
The latest addition to the BlueFit swim school portfolio, the 467 square metre facility is equipped with hotel-quality amenities and features a Myrtha pool and a Defender filtration system to ensure the highest water quality for its students.
Commenting on the opening, BlueFit advised that the facility “will welcome thousands of young families into the precinct each month and will offer a high-quality service to the local community.”
Located in the Homemaker Prospect precinct, the heated indoor pools are dedicated to children’s swimming lessons.
The Myrtha Technology pool is the latest example of BlueFit using an off-the-shelf Myrtha modular pool in a standardised, purpose-built design.
In a social media post on the design, Myrtha Pools ANZ Business Development Manager, Chiara Cenati advised “we’ve brought a classic learn to swim experience to life with a Myrtha pool.”
Installed above ground in a warehouse setting the pool features a classic gutter with benches and plenty of anchors for optimised space.”
Myrtha Bulkhead
Myrtha has also advised of the installation of the first Myrtha flip-up bulkhead in Australia, installed at Brisbane’s Parkinson Aquatic Centre.
Myrtha advise “this advanced feature transforms pool functionality with its retrofit capability, even while water remains in the pool.
“By creating a more adaptable and efficient space for aquatic centres, we’re helping enhance community facilities with minimal disruption.”
