BlueFit and Fitness and Lifestyle Group announce learn to swim partnership
Leading community leisure management and learn to swim program provider BlueFit has announced a partnership with Fitness and Lifestyle Group (FLG), the operator of leading exercise brands Fitness First Australia, Goodlife Health Clubs, Zap Fitness, California Fitness and Jetts Fitness New Zealand.
This partnership will see BlueFit licence the pool areas in over 20 Fitness First and Goodlife facilities across Australia.
As part of this collaboration, BlueFit will drive the growth of the learn to swim programs and maintain the pool and plant areas at FLG locations. This strategic partnership combines the strengths of both organisations to improve product offerings to the local communities across Australia.
Announcing the partnership, BlueFit Chief Executive, Todd McHardy advised "we are thrilled to partner with FLG to expand our learn to swim offering to another 10,000 to 15,000 students per week.
"This collaboration aligns perfectly with our commitment to inspiring community activity, and importantly is growth in the existing regions our teams operate."
Noting that FLG shares BlueFit's dedication to promoting health and wellness within communities and that through this partnership, both organisations aim to inspire more individuals and young families to lead active, healthy lifestyles, FLG Executive General Manager - Australia, Andy Chamoun added “we are excited to partner with BlueFit and to expand our reach to more individuals looking to prioritise their health and well-being.
"Together, we will empower more people to live happier, healthier lives through our combined offerings and expertise."
The partnership between BlueFit and FLG launched in January and is a long-term commitment from both brands.
