International Swim Schools Association wraps up successful Dubai event

The International Swim Schools Association (ISSA) has reported on the staging of its third International Swim Schools Spectacular in Dubai which hosted over 200 delegates from 27 countries.

Commencing at the Fairmont Hotel The Palm with the Educators - which set the tone for an interesting insight into learn to swim programs for babies through to adults, from around the world -  swim school owners and aquatic professionals were then immersed into insightful presentations and discussions during the three-day conference, which focused on the core themes of People, Product, and Process, offering a comprehensive perspective on the latest trends and innovations in the international swim school industry.

Renowned experts and world-class keynote speakers shared their expertise and knowledge to inspire and empower attendees. The conference days were packed with engaging sessions, providing a collaborative environment for the global swim school community to exchange ideas and best practices.

The five-day event.event also saw the launch of ISSA’s fresh new brand and Accreditation Program - a significant step forward in enhancing the standards of swim education globally.

Beyond the conference rooms, delegates enjoyed a variety of extra activities that showcased the beauty and excitement of Dubai. Highlights included a visit to the iconic

Burj Khalifa, providing breathtaking views of the city, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark, offering an insider's look at aquatic entertainment excellence.

The grand finale unfolded with an unforgettable Arabian Desert Experience, providing a perfect blend of culture and adventure to wrap up the event on a high note.

Commenting on the success of the event, ISSA General Manager, Emily McNeill "Australasian Leisure Management and iClassPro, ISSA’s Silver Sponsors, played a pivotal role in the success of the third International Swim Schools Spectacular.

“Their support, together with that of the event Exhibitor Partners, has been instrumental in bringing this global event to life and facilitating opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration within the swim school industry.”

In a passionate call to action, ISSA invites individuals and businesses worldwide to join their network and become agents of change. Through this collaborative effort, ISSA aims to transform the harrowing 10-year drowning forecast of five million people worldwide and eradicate the impact of drowning from communities across the globe.

The call to action had immediate traction with many of the conference participants and network members joining ISSA over the five days of the International Swim Schools Spectacular.

The resounding success of this event reinforces ISSA's commitment to promoting global collaboration and excellence in swim education.

Plans for the next event in Columbia are already underway, promising even greater insights and networking opportunities for the international swim school community.
