Children’s swimwear brand Splash About acquires Australian distributor Little Toggs

Splash About, the UK’s best-selling children’s swimwear brand, has increased its investment in the Australian market announcing its acquisition of NSW-based baby and toddler swimwear distributor Little Toggs.

Part of a global expansion, the acquisition was finalised on 5th November with the business to now be known as Splash About Australia Pty Limited.

The founder of Little Toggs, Kylie Hadid, will remain with and continue to lead the business, becoming Managing Director of Splash About Australia.

Commenting on the acquisition, Lesley Beach, joint Managing Director of Splash About International Ltd, stated “Little Toggs has partnered with Splash About for over 15 years and Kylie’s knowledge of the early years Australian swimming market is second-to-none.

“Kylie’s expertise coupled with our extensive product range and our shared commitment to baby and toddler swimming will ensure we continue to build successful relationships with both swim schools and retailers nationwide.”

Kylie Hadid, Managing Director of Splash About Australia, added “with 1.8million children learning to swim in Australia, the potential market for Splash About’s infant swimwear and accessories range is huge.

“Demand for new, innovative quality products is unabated and with the backing of a global business we will be able to offer our customers access to an unrivalled award-winning product range with orders fulfilled quickly from our new state-of-the-art warehouse facility in NSW.”

Splash About Australia will not only supply swimwear and swim accessories - it has a range of flexible Partnership Programs to work with swim schools regardless of their size, which are aimed at helping them drive venue, operate efficiently and decrease costs without increasing prices.
