ARI NSW announces technology partnership with Xplor Recreation
The Aquatic and Recreation Institute of NSW (ARI NSW) has announced a new partnership with technology platform Xplor Recreation.
The three-year technology collaboration marks the beginning of sponsorship agreement that promises to enhance and elevate member and partner experience with ARI NSW.
ARI NSW celebrated the partnership with Xplor Recreation sponsoring the inaugural Innovation and Technology Award at this month’s 2024 ARI Awards of Excellence - which was won by BlueFit.
Xplor Recreation, a leader in innovative software solutions for the recreation sector, will provide its expertise and technology to ARI NSW, aiming to enhance operational efficiencies, improve member engagement, and support the ongoing professional development of industry professionals across the state.
Welcoming the partnership, ARI NSW Chairperson, Marco Blanco stated “we are excited to embark on this journey with Xplor Recreation. Their commitment to technological excellence aligns perfectly with our mission to support and advance the aquatic and recreation sector in NSW.”
Melanie Jess, Business Development Manager of Xplor Recreation, added “Xplor Recreation is thrilled to partner with ARI NSW and contribute to the growth and success of the aquatic and recreation sector.
“Our shared commitment to technology, innovation, and enhancing the user experience forms the foundation of this collaboration. We look forward to supporting the ARI and working with its members.”
Karl Kreiss joins ARI NSW Board of Directors
ARI NSW has also announced that Karl Kreiss joined its Board of Directors earlier this year.
For the past three years Kreiss has worked in the role of Program Leader Aquatic and Leisure Centres with the Blue Mountains City Council.
Commenting on his career, Kreiss advised “having worked in both the public and private sector in centre management and for period of time in the aquatic service industry, I have a well-rounded and extensive knowledge of all aspects of the aquatic and leisure industry.
“I hope to share this knowledge and my love and enthusiasm for the industry to develop strategies for both regional and metropolitan aquatic and recreation providers and in doing so assist the next generation of aquatic and leisure staff.”
