IQ Pool Solutions introduces ‘code brown’ treatment solution

International Quadratics Pty Ltd has announced that it has obtained approval from the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) for the sale of its C-5 Tablets - a safe and cost effective technology for dealing with faecal incidents (‘code brown’) and bacterial contaminations in swimming pools.  

The only chlorine dioxide precursor product to be registered by the APVMA, IQ Pool Solutions’ C-5 Tablet now complies with all state health department and APVMA requirements.

The product has the potential to revolutionise time-consuming and costly ways in which aquatic facility operators’ deal with faecal incidents, cryptosporidium and other water based bacteria. 

Simple to use, C-5 tablets are effective within 60 minutes in providing a highly efficient, safe and cost effective treatment program: 

• As a recommended treatment for Cryptosporidium
• As an effectively method to eliminate Chloramines
• In removing and preventing Biofilm
• That greatly reduces pool closure time 

In use, C-5 tablets:

• Require no chemical mixing
• Are a ‘peel and pop’ dosing method
• Are an easy to use tablet formulation

C-5 Tablets are available in 10 kilogram packs for commercial pools and 2 kilogram packs for semi-commercial pools (learn-to-swim, hotels, motels and holiday parks).
