After 18 months of border closures and with Thailand’s islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan all set to reopen to international travellers, Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort, Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort and Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas are welcoming back guests.

Under the ‘Samui Plus Model’ fully vaccinated international travellers flying into Koh Samui are required to stay at an Samui Extra Plus approved hotel, such as the Anantara’s sister property Avani+ Samui Resort.  After Day 7, guests can stay at any Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA+) Certified hotel on Koh Samui, Koh Phangan or Koh Tao provided they produce negative RT-PCR tests.

Anantara’s three resorts are SHA+ approved in accordance with local government and World Health Organisation guidelines.  Additional measures include all team members being fully vaccinated plus the implementation of Anantara’s ‘Stay with Peace of Mind’ program - a rigorous set of sanitation procedures and social distancing measures to ensure guest safety.

Anantara guests can now enjoy the Gulf of Thailand’s pristine national parks, untouched beaches, and unforgettable cultural sites. Muay Thai classes, Spice Spoons cooking classes and unique Dining by Designs along with pampering experiences at Anantara Spa, such as yoga, meditation and exercise classes will enhance guest stays at each resort.

Nestled in Samui’s iconic Fisherman’s Village, Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort offers 106 rooms, suites and beachfront pool suites. Guests can enjoy the beachfront infinity pool the stunning Anantara Spa spread over 3,000 square metres of lotus ponds and garden.
