International Quadratics' achievements recognised with twin awards

Aquatic industry chemical manufacturer and commercial equipment supplier International Quadratics has received two prestigious industry awards.

The first of the awards was presented earlier this month at the Pool Werx Convention in Port Douglas during mid August, with IQ receiving the prestigeous 'Supplier of the Year' award as a result of an individual trade opinion poll.

The announcement was made during the Convention's gala dinner and saw IQ receive the award for the third time in their five year involvement with Pool Werx.

Welcoming the award, IQ Managing Director David Lloyd stated "this is a sensational effort by the entire IQ group.

"This 'peoples choice' award really recognises the service and commitment of all our staff, the distribution network and everyone's ability to care about every single one of our customers. This is the essence of our business and to be able to be rewarded for it is a cherry on top for our staff. We will take this proudly, celebrate and keep on delivering."

From Port Douglas, the team at IQ rushed back to the SPASA Awards night at La Montage in NSW.

Here, IQ was again faced with a line up of strong competitors to take out the 'Commitment to Industry Training and Education' award.

Reflecting on the two awards, Lloyd added "two (awards) in one week, we cannot be happier.

"To be recognised for our strength of technical training programs, knowledge, expertise and how we deliver this to our customers and the broader industry is important.

"It is an area of our business we spend a lot of time and effort on. It is the foundations that a chemical manufacture and supplier must have as everything else grows from it Customer support, marketing, sales and product development. We are extremely happy to be able to take this award straight to the pool room".

IQ and their Distribution Network are all family owned businesses with a long established history of the supply of quality chemicals and commercial equipment.
