Anytime Fitness Singapore celebrates opening of 125th Club and boosts transparency and member support
Leading the charge in accessible and round-the-clock fitness, Anytime Fitness Singapore has marked a significant milestone with the launch of its 125th club, reinforcing its position as the nation’s largest fitness chain. Impressively, this achievement comes just three months into the year, with eight new locations opened across residential and commercial zones.
The brand’s momentum aligns with its broader growth strategy, as it targets 200 clubs over the next decade, and reflects increasing consumer demand for flexible, high-quality fitness access.
Johannes Raadsma, President and Co-Founder of Inspire Brands Asia (IBA) - the master franchisee for Anytime Fitness Asia enthused "we are thrilled to achieve this milestone so early in 2025. It reflects the growing demand for accessible, flexible fitness solutions and our dedication to making wellness convenient for all."
In addition to its physical expansion, Anytime Fitness is also driving innovation in member experience. A recent move towards greater pricing transparency now sees membership rates available online-empowering consumers to make informed decisions.
Mark De Joya, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Inspire Brands Asia (IBA) added “by making pricing clear and accessible, we aim to create a seamless experience for prospective members. That way, they can explore their options and determine which fitness provider best match their goals."
Meanwhile, the brand’s upgraded Smart Coaching Ecosystem via the AF App continues to enhance personalised support for members, integrating technology with real-life coaching to promote sustainable, holistic health outcomes.
“Every club we open is a commitment to community and inclusivity,” said Luke Guanlao, IBA Group Chief Executive and Co-Founder. “We’re not just growing in numbers - we’re growing impact.”
With all clubs operating 24/7, Anytime Fitness maintains its dedication to flexibility, providing members with the freedom to work out on their own schedule, and the support to reach their health goals.
Last month, the Global Wellness Institute spotlighted Singapore’s fast-growing wellness economy, which is expanding at an annual rate of 7.79%. Notably, life expectancy in Singapore has increased by nearly 20 years in recent decades, earning the country sixth place among the world’s Blue Zones in 2023. This shift has been underpinned by health and wellness having become national priorities in Singapore, with government policies increasingly focused on supporting long-term well-being.
