Anytime Fitness gyms in Singapore introduce entry via AF Access Pass
Anytime Fitness has been rolling out a new way for members to enter their gym with members having the option of using their phones and smartwatches to enter using AF Access Pass.
All 113 Anytime Fitness gyms in Singapore were set up last month for the new access system with the entry system ‘AF Access Pass’ having also been fully implemented in other countries including Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Qatar.
Existing members can activate their AF Access Passes on the AF App, available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
The new feature aims to provide members with even greater convenience, where they can use the Access Pass to enter any AF club in Singapore.
Anytime Fitness advises the new entry system will be installed within the next few months in other countries including Indonesia and Malaysia.
For security reasons, members are only allowed one type of access – key fob or smartphone access with the AF Access Pass. If members change to the Access Pass via the AF App, their key fob will be decommissioned, and they will be moved exclusively to smartphone access.
As of September 2024, the list of countries that have already completed the AF Access Pass installation are:
North America: United States, Canada
Europe: Benelux, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria
Asia-Pacific: Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan
Middle East: Qatar
Countries with installations in progress:
Malaysia
Philippines
U.K.
Morocco
Indonesia
