Anytime Fitness Opens Nine Centres in India

Global fitness club chain Anytime Fitness has launched in India. With an initial investment of US $11 million, the group is targeting nine cities across the country for its clubs.
Crispin Lamont, Chief Executive of Anytime India Fitness explains "the concept of well equipped, high-end fitness clubs is restricted to the main metro cities. With the launch of Anytime Fitness, we would like to bring the very best standards for fitness and wellness to metros and beyond."
The chain, which will currently start operations in Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Mumbai and Ludhiana, aims to create a network of 250 clubs in India in three years through ownership and franchises.
The company brings with it a unique concept of âOne price-One membership-One worldâ. With one standard rate across India, new members can use Anytime Fitness facilities anywhere across its global network of 1,200 clubs.
"With a scientific approach, best equipment and state-of-art interiors, Anytime Fitness arrives in India with an aim to provide the masses with affordable yet world class fitness," added Lamont.
Anytime Fitness operates in 48 US states, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
