Anytime Fitness' media subsidiary changes name to drive future growth

In a move to diversify its media portfolio, Anytime Fitness' media business, Anytime Vision, has changed its name to Collective Media.

Effective from 1st April 2016, the name change was in line with the groups broader strategy and alignment with their investment company, the Collective Wellness Group.

Collective Media, created to leverage the Anytime Fitness Australia fitness focused member base, will be expanding its network to include newly launched master franchise Massage Envy in Australia.

The massage franchise is expected to open in excess of 100 outlets over the next three years, complementing the current multiplatform of media assets available through the Anytime Fitness member base of more than 440,000.

Collective Media General Manager Andrew Sneddon explains “we’re very excited about representing new businesses within our group.

"Like we’ve done with Anytime Fitness, we’ll create assets that allow our partners to communicate and market to our members in a meaningful way that adds value to them, our franchisees and our members.

“We’ll focus on integrating key strategic partners into our business, like we did with for Anytime Fitness with Asics, AIA Vitality, Garmin, Musashi, HIF, Vitaco, Men’s Fitness, Schweppes et al.

"We’ll be looking for similar types of partners for Massage Envy and for other businesses we launch in the near future.”

Collective Media plans, schedules and manages all of its media platforms and provides clients with comprehensive annual media plans and monthly reporting.

Sneddon states “our main aim is to build these strategic long term partnerships with all of our partners, while at the same time ensuring partner brands become top of mind from a member perspective.”

Cameron Fancourt, Chief Executive of Development for Collective Wellness Group, adds “with the success Collective Media has with Anytime Fitness, we believe the addition of the Massage Envy network will provide an exciting new channel for national brands to connect with an attractive target audience who have become increasingly difficult to reach through traditional media”.
