Aligned Leisure names John Clark as Group Operations Manager

Aligned Leisure has announced the appointment of John Clark to the role of Group Operations Manager, where he will oversee a portfolio of Aligned Leisure partnerships.

Clark brings with him a wealth of experience spanning aquatics, recreation sport, tourism and community. Most recently, he served as the inaugural Chief Executive at South East Leisure, leading a workforce of more than 275 staff over the past four years.

His career also includes senior leadership positions with the Brimbank City Council, Colac Otway Shire Council, and various aquatic and, recreation management providers and facilities along with extensive experience in local government, strategy, operations, innovation, financial acumen and leading large and diverse teams.

Under his guidance, teams and programs have earned multiple industry awards for sustainability, facility management, innovation, and customer service excellence.

Advising that Clark stood out during a highly competitive recruitment process, Aligned Leisure Chief Executive, Ben Tudhope stated “John stood out among several well-known and experienced leisure operators.
