Aligned Leisure to manage Bass Coast Shire Council aquatic and recreation facilities

Aligned Leisure has announced that it has been appointed to manage the Bass Coast Leisure Facilities, including the Phillip Island Leisure Centre and the Bass Coast Aquatic and Leisure Centre, from 1st July 2025.

Through the partnership, Aligned Leisure will deliver Bass Coast Shire Council’s innovative, inclusive, and high-quality programs both within the facilities and out in the community, enhancing member experiences and supporting the physical, social, and mental wellbeing of residents and visitors.

Announcing the new partnership, Bass Coast Shire Council Chief Executive, Greg Box stated “Aligned Leisure is a highly capable, community-focused organisation with a strong track record in facility management and community activation.

“We are excited to partner with Aligned Leisure, leaders in the aquatics and leisure industry, currently operating 49 facilities across Australia.”

Aligned Leisure Chief Executive Ben Tudhope noted that the company is thrilled to be appointed the management of these vital community facilities, adding “we look forward to collaborating with Bass Coast Shire Council to enhance the lives of local residents and visitors.

“Our team is passionate about creating engaging environments where the community can thrive, and it is our pleasure to be able to extend this reach into Bass Coast.

“We are looking forward to getting to know everyone in the community from July.”

Aligned Leisure’s successful bid will see them manage these prominent facilities with a focus on sustainability, innovation and community engagement.

The appointment takes Aligned Leisure’s total leisure facilities managed to 51 across NSW and Victoria.
