Aligned Leisure introduces upgrades to Shire of Cardinia facilities

Having taken over the management of the Shire of Cardinia’s major recreational facilities at the beginning of July, Aligned Leisure has undertaken a major upgrade at the region’s premier health and recreational facility, Cardinia Life, installing new state-of-the-art fitness equipment at facility's health club.

The centre has been fitted with new Precor cardio and strength equipment, which integrates Preva technology.

New treadmills, exercise bikes, rowing and step machines have replaced existing equipment, as well as new weight machines.

Preva wrist bands have also replaced membership cards and allow members to track their fitness progress with on-console software or the mobile app.

The technology connects its users to a personalised fitness experience that engages and motivates, while personalising each fitness experience.

Aligned Leisure Managing Director, Cain Liddle, said the major upgrade reinvigorated the health club.

Liddle explained “Aligned Leisure is excited to be taking this new step in Cardinia Shire and we look forward to providing residents with outstanding service and value,” Liddle said.

“We’re also excited to help people achieve their health, fitness and wellness objectives.”

With Shire of Cardinia residents now having access to world class fitness equipment, Liddle added “Cardinia Life staff are always on hand to help our members and customers create a program that is personalised to their fitness goals.

“In addition we have more than 50 group fitness classes available each week, as well as a 25 metre lap pool available free to our members.”

Aligned Leisure has also scrapped joining fees and minimum term contracts at the facility and has frozen membership prizes for 2016.
