AALARA and Australasian Leisure Management announce new partnership
The 2025 Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA) annual conference on the Gold Coast this week has seen the announcement of a new publication partnership between the peak national body representing the amusement, leisure and recreation industry and Australasian Leisure Management.
The partnership will see AALARA members receive a complementary subscription to the Australasian Leisure Management magazine and the twice-weekly industry newsletter - the industry’s leading resource for insights, trends and best practices across attractions, aquatics, recreation, venue and waterparks management.
In addition, AALARA members will be able gain access to the online news on the Australasian Leisure Management at no charge.
Commenting on the partnership, AALARA President and Coast Entertainment Holdings Group Chief Executive, Greg Yong stated "this is a great development.
"I know personally that I've clicked the links to the online Australasian Leisure Management news, then thought 'yeah, I've got to get organised and subscribe'.
"So, this is a tremendous bit of additional value for all AALARA members.
"This is what we're all about - looking to continually add value for our members - so this, and receiving the printed magazine, is a really fantastic addition.
"You're always across the stories of the day and I think for all of us out there that are readers, it's a really great additional bonus for being an AALARA member, so I think it's great news.
Welcoming the link, Australasian Leisure Management Publisher, Nigel Benton noted “attending the AALARA conference this week marks the 28th year of my attendance so it’s really pleasing to reestablish strong links with the Association.
"Partnerships with the industry’s leading member organisations has always been key to the success of Australasian Leisure Management and this gives us more impetus to publish news and features that AALARA members will benefit from."
