Zealandia choses Centaman

Wellington's world-first visitor attraction Zealandia has chosen the Centaman entry management system for its point of sale, membership, ticketing, and reservations and booking systems.

The newest addition to Centamanâs New Zealand client base, Zealandia is implementing the award winning system over the next few months and are hoping to benefit from the advanced business tools, analysis and reporting that Centaman provides.

As Zealandia Chief Executive, Nancy McIntosh-Ward comments, "we are excited about the information and efficiencies CENTAMAN is going to provide us, our new visitor centre will bring a large increase in our visitor numbers and the ease of use CENTAMAN brings will ensure we have the ability to exceed the expectations of our customers at all times."

Centaman General Manager Mike Henton adds "it is exciting to welcome one of New Zealand's iconic tourism attractions to our family, the solution we are implementing for the team at Zealandia is leading edge and will allow them to grow their business in the years to come."

This addition brings the number of sites operating Centaman in New Zealand to over 50 adding to a total of over 700 sites worldwide.

Centaman is a market leader in the provision of computer systems for the leisure and venue, tourism and local government markets. Centaman software is developed in Sydney and provides dedicated New Zealand based support to all New Zealand clients from offices in Auckland.

Zealandia is a world-first wildlife refuge giving visitors one of the best opportunities to see and hear our rare native wildlife in the wild.

Located in the heart of Wellington, the unique conservation attraction aims to provide a brighter future for New Zealand's native wildlife by turning back the clock as closely as possible to the way things were before humans arrived. Zealandia is the world's first fully-fenced urban wildlife sanctuary and provides a safe haven for some of New Zealand's most endangered native animals.
