Abu Dhabi Sports Council launch Team Managers program to raise efficiency
Aiming to boost the administrative system of Abu Dhabi Clubs, Abu Dhabi Sports Council has launched a ‘Team Managers’ program to raise efficiency and quality of performance.
The program targeting 30 participants and running until December aims to provide advanced expertise and experiences that positively reflect on the general level of Abu Dhabi sports.
It’s an initiative of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council to empower administrative cadres, and provide all the reasons and factors for success to perform their tasks in the areas of management and supervision of sports teams.
During the training period, the participants will have to complete a course for correspondence in both Arabic and English, the also include planning and organising time management, effective communication, innovation and working under pressure.
Other areas of knowledge are children's rights, first aid and doping matters. The participants will follow a course on principles of sports management and organisation Indoor and outdoor camps, sports psychology, and a 10-day practical living period in a European club.
Talal Al Hashemi, Executive Director of Sports Development Sector at Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said they were constantly looking to improve the administrative and technical system in the Abu Dhabi clubs.
“The objective is to constantly update and upgrade the management systems of the clubs to keep them abreast with the modern times,” he said.
“The new program will contribute to achieving integration in roles, and supporting development plans at the level of Abu Dhabi club teams in all its sports.”
