World Gym Australia reveals appointment of Roger Westerman as Chief Executive
World Gym Australia has announced the appointment of experienced fitness business executive Roger Westerman as its new Chief Executive.
Westerman, who was Chief Operating Officer at Goodlife Health Clubs between 2001 and 2010 before undertaking roles with Snap Fitness, Synergy Fitness and TotalFusion, joins World Gym Australia (Proarc International Pty Ltd) at a time when it is on an upward growth trajectory.
Commenting on his career, Westerman (pictured) advises “I am a business leader highlighting creativity, innovation and differentiation with a focus on people management and improving performance. My skills also extend into both small and large business enterprises where my demonstrated experience in leadership and management have proven a winning formula for success.
“Ultimately my passion is being involved in a growth team environment, developing a unique culture based upon purpose, motivation, inspiration and a lot of fun.”
He joins World Gym Australia as of Monday 31st October.
Among a suite of new club openings, a World Gym Australia franchisee has taken on the former Stadium Club space in the Entertainment Quarter in Sydney’s Moore Park.
The massive site is set to open early in 2023.
