World Gym Australia confirmed as Brisbane Broncos partner and backer of V8 Super2 driver Nash Morris
World Gym Australia’s ongoing expansion and partnership links has seen it confirmed as an Official Supplier to the NRL’s Brisbane Broncos and sponsor of the club while also backing emerging race driver Nash Morris in the V8 Super 2 category for 2023.
World Gym’s Brisbane Broncos partnership will see it provide exclusive offers and benefits for Broncos members and partners, in an ongoing commitment to support grassroots sport across the country.
Describing the partnership as a natural fit, Broncos Chief Executive, Dave Donaghy stated “elite performance and training is part of our DNA and daily ritual here at the Brisbane Broncos for our teams.
“While not everyone has the regime of a professional athlete, we know how important keeping a healthy and active lifestyle is for everyone.
“World Gym has inspired millions to do just that and their culture, built around purpose, motivation, inspiration and a lot of fun really resonates with us.
“We can’t wait for some great opportunities for our Broncos members and fans to get involved.”
Visiting the Broncos high performance facility in April to announce the partnership, World Gym Australia Chief Executive, Roger Westerman stated “having been in the industry for over 20 years, I’ve lived and breathed our legacy of improving lives through fitness and identify with the Jim Rohn quote ‘the stronger the why, the easier the how becomes’.
“World Gym Australia’s mission is to encourage people everywhere to focus on improving their health and fitness one workout at a time.
“There are many synergies and longstanding relationships already in place and this official partnership is a natural next step for us.”
The link will also see World Gym have a presence at selected Broncos home games on the Suncorp Stadium Plaza.
Partnership with Nash Morris
World Gym has also been backing Nash Morris, the 19 year old driver from the Gold Coast, in his second season in the V8 Super 2 category.
Morris, who made his debut in the series at Sydney Motorsport Park in early March, took out the V8 Super 3 category in 2021 and made the step up to V8 Super 2 in 2022.
Commenting on the support, World Gym Australia Director, Mike Nysten told Australasian Leisure Management “World Gym Australia is always looking for ways to connect with the general population and continually work to strengthen our brand awareness around Australia, looking at the demographics of the V8 Supercar audience, it makes sense.
“We’d like to thank Paul Morris, the Norwell Motorplex team and of course Nash for creating an opportunity to partner with them on this segment of Nash’s career journey.”
World Gym’s expansion has seen it open new clubs in the Entertainment Quarter in Sydney’s Moore Park, at Marsden Park in NSW and Midland in Western Australia in 2023.
The Moore Park site is on the premises of the former Stadium Club.
