Women’s Fitness Summit 2015 doubles in scope and duration
In creating the inaugural Women’s Health and Fitness Summit (WHFS) in 2014, Michelle Wright sought to provide a supportive and engaging environment where women’s fitness and health issues could be explored.
Her aim was benefit all those involved, in whatever their role in the fitness and health industries, and to provoke an essential, global conversation that will positively impact on the future of women’s fitness and health.
With the 2014 Summit attended by over 100 delegates from around Australia and New Zealand, this year WHFS scope is expanding.
Wright (pictured above), the founder and Chief Executive of Melbourne-based mishfit, has planned for the 2015 event to more than double in both size and duration.
Moving to the Crown Conference Centre, Melbourne, the Summit will now take place on two days - 12th and 13th September - with attendance expected to double in numbers while also integrating a trade show.
Wright explains “WHFS is the ideal educational event for anyone interested in women’s health issues, or any businesses that has female clients.
“If your business provides solutions or support to women who wish to enhance their health, fitness or nutrition then this is one event that you need to attend.”
In 2015, the Summit will bring together world-renowned speakers and presenters from all areas of women’s health, who, Wright adds “will inform and inspire - rather than lecture.”
