With electrical fault rectified Cairns’ Sugarworld Adventure Park will reopen this weekend

Cairns Regional Council has advised that maintenance works to rectify an electrical issue at its Sugarworld Adventure Park has been completed and the facility will reopen tomorrow, a week earlier than expected.

With an electrical issue detected during a routine inspection at the attraction, the Council closed the facility as of last Saturday (18th March).

At the time of the closure, a Council spokesman advised “Council had hoped to complete the works during the weekday closure period, but unfortunately additional time is required.

“Council apologies for any inconvenience.”

A nine-hole mini golf course is the most recent addition to the popular attraction, located in the Cairns suburb of Edmonton.
