WhiteWater surfs into international LatiTube agreement

WhiteWater West has announced the acquisition of the LatiTube standing surf wave simulator line of products in global markets outside of Australia and New Zealand.

The Australian-developed LatiTube is a unique surfing attraction distinct from the US-developed FlowRider technology, which WhiteWater West acquired earlier this year.

Since its first installation in 2013, LatiTube has already found success in a range of locations including Wet‘n’Wild Sydney.

An experiential surfing attraction for all ages, LatiTube provides surfers with the experience of riding an ocean-like tube and is the perfect surfing wave-generator for riders of all abilities as the operator may easily adjust the wave to match the surfer’s movements and skill level.

Commenting on the acquisition WhiteWater West Chief Execuitve Geoff Chutter stated “we want to welcome Steve Kriticos and the LatiTube product line into the WhiteWater family as another innovation joins the ORIGINAL Waterpark & Attractions Company.”

The acquisition of the international rights for LatiTube will also see its founder, Steve Kriticos, join WhiteWater West’s Wave Division.

Commenting on this, Kriticos added “I am excited at the opportunity to participate in new product development for WhiteWater, the leader in innovation in the waterpark industry.”
