WhiteWater equips China's largest waterpark

Zhengzhou Yinji Kaifeng Waterpark has opened its doors in Henan, China, with the colossal waterpark boasting an array of WhiteWater products following the largest ever single order for the global waterpark sector.

The CA$29m US$25.7 million) deal between the waterpark and Whitewater has seen the installation of nine separate waterslide complexes featuring nearly 50 waterslides, three custom themed AquaPlay structures, a Shoot the Chute water ride, three wave pools, two types of Wave Rivers and a FlowRider Double. Yinji Kaifeng is also now home to several completely unique Fusion Waterslides including a Fusion AquaLoop + Flatline Loop and the first AquaSphere + Constrictor.

Opened on 1st July, the waterpark is China’s largest with outdoor and indoor sections, which at peak capacity can hold 32,000 and 15,000 people respectively.

Commenting on the development, WhiteWater President and Chief Executive Geoff Chutter, stated “we are extremely proud to work with Yinji Dynasty to assist them in bringing a new level of waterpark sophistication to the industry.

“This park is going to raise the bar for Chinese tourism destinations all around the country.”

The waterpark is Yinji Dynasty’s first step an ambitious plan  to create world-class tourism destinations for central China.
