Wet'n'Wild Sydney to be the world's most technologically advanced waterpark

Set to open on 12th December, Wet'n'Wild Sydney is being welcomed as the world's largest and most technologically advanced waterpark.

Set to be home to over 40 slides and attractions including a giant tornado ride and the world's tallest looping tube complex, guests visiting Wet'n'Wild Sydney will also be able enjoy a 150 metre surf pool and a 70 metre wave pool that offers 3 metre swells, cruise down the action river, or relax with smaller children in the under three year old tots area or three to eight year old childrens area.

Designed by Wisconsin-USA based Water Technology Inc, the $120 million waterpark also features a double SkyCoaster the world's tallest.

Wet'n'Wild Sydney will also feature ground breaking RFID technology that has been integrated into the park's infrastructure to allow our guests to have a seamless in-park experience without needing their telephone/smartphone or wallet.

Wet'n'Wild Sydney's 'MyBand' system will work for both Season Pass holders and General Admission guests. Season Pass holders are issued a silicon RFID wrist band holding their season pass information while General Admission ticketed guests receive a temporary fan folded' RFID wrist band, with guest details printed on demand at the point of entry. All guests have the option of upgrading MyBand once inside the park with a range of colours and designs.

Developed by RFID n Print, the fan folded wristbands have been designed so that multiple stacks of the wristbands can be placed inside a dispenser that can be quickly encoded using a small desk top printer/encoder by a relatively inexperienced operator, and dispensed at speed.

In addition, as the fan folded wristbands are stacked in sequential order, they are fraud proof.

Before or during their visit, guests can upload cash onto their MyBand and then with a flick of their wrist use their wristband for purchases, from their initial locker hire through to other buying food, drinks and merchandise, removing the need to keep returning to their locker during their visit.
