Waypoint to assist Cricket Victoria with State Cricket Centre development

Consultancy Waypoint Pty Ltd has been engaged by Cricket Victoria to assist with its quest to build a new Victorian State Cricket Centre.

The facility will provide a new home for Cricket Victoria's operations, ranging from its community cricket programs, right through to its high performance programs.

Waypoint will utilise its extensive experience in developing state and national centres of excellence to ensure that the proposed facility delivers significant benefits to all cricket participants, coaches, officials and volunteers; and will lead the justification and funding partnership negotiation aspects of the project on behalf of Cricket Victoria.

Plans for the Victorian State Cricket Centre, form part of Cricket Victoria's Strategy for Victorian Cricket 2012 to 2015, for which is acknowledges it requires "substantial external investment".
