Warner Bros. Movie World transforms for Gold Coast’s best Halloween event

Warner Bros. Movie World is transforming to scare even the bravest of guests at its after-dark event – ‘Fright Nights’ - which is returning to the park on selected nights this October.

Fright Nights 2023 is going to be one of the biggest years ever offering five mazes including three new IPs, four gruesome precincts, eight panic rooms and Movie World’s iconic rides at night.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks Chief Operating Officer, Bikash Randhawa said for nine selected nights in October, Movie World is transformed to become a home of horror through a series of precincts and mazes.

Randhawa advised “Fright Nights is the Gold Coast’s best Halloween Event and our team have been working tirelessly to bring the horror to life and we can’t wait for guest to experience the event which will be one of the scariest and most thrilling in our history.

“We are incredibly excited for this year’s event which features three new mazes, including the world-first DCeased Maze with the number one bestselling comic series DCeased brought to life for the first time to showcase the iconic Justice League from the DC universe like never before.

“Excitingly, we are also launching a new Under Ground Club experience which will be presented by Radio metro and feature exclusive entertainment and DJs allowing guests to dance, drink and scream the night away.

“In addition to all of the mazes and precincts, guests to Fright Nights can also experience Movie World rides and for the first-time ever we will be operating the Wild West Falls ride for the event.”

Fright Nights contains extremely scary horror themes and experiences and is not recommended for children under the age of 14 years.

Fright Nights will run from 6 to 11pm on selected nights in October and guests are encouraged to get in early and book their tickets to avoid missing out.
