Village Roadshow reopens Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast
Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast have this week joined fellow Village Roadshow Theme Parks attractions, Sea World, Paradise Country, Topgolf and Australian Outback Spectacular in reopening to guests under an industry approved COVIDSafe plan.
Speaking at the reopening of the theme parks on Wednesday, Village Roadshow Chief Executive, Clark Kirby said the attractions’ number one priority remains the health and safety of visitors and team members.
Kirby advised “we are incredibly excited to have all of our theme parks and attractions reopened and we can’t wait to welcome guests back to experience our world-class line up of rides, slides, shows and entertainment.
“It was wonderful to see all of our Movie World characters welcoming our guests back this morning and we look forward to continuing to create memories that last lifetimes at our parks.
“After over three months of being closed, it is great to be able to bring our team members back to work where, with the help of their wonderful service, we will rebuild our parks stronger than ever.
“All of our parks and attractions have reopened with a number of advanced health and safety procedures in-place including increased hygiene and physical distancing practices as stipulated in our COVIDSafe Plan.
“As part of our COVIDSafe Plan, we have also introduced the Village Roadshow Theme Parks App which will allow guests to have a safe and seamless experience.
“One of the most significant features of the App is Virtual Queue which allows guests to reserve their ride ahead of time and avoid lining up so they can fit even more fun into their day.”
