VMA launches 29th Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress

The Venue Management Association (VMA) has today launched its 2022 Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress being held at ICC Sydney from Monday 30th May to Wednesday 1st June.

As the largest annual gathering of venue industry professionals in the Asia-Pacific, prior to the pandemic the Congress had been breaking attendance records year after year with the comradery, connections and knowledge sharing at each event.

In 2022 the event will return to its traditional format - taking place over three days, and ready to wlecome returning and new delegates.

Looking forward to the Congress, VMA Chief Executive, Michael Brierley noted “after two long years of disruption for our industry the time has come to remerge, come together again in person and celebrate our great industry. In line with this years theme, it’s our time to RECONNECT, REVITALISE, and RESTART”.

The educational program includes with 16 sessions scheduled across a variety of industry critical, professional and soft skill development topics, featuring 40 plus leading speakers and panellists.

The Exhibitor trade floor is nearing sell out with industry suppliers wanting to get back in front of key decision makers to showcase their solutions and innovations.

The Congress social program returns with a Welcome Reception, After 5! Networking and the much-anticipated Venue Industry Awards and Gala Dinner.
